NLC Mortgage Lenders Survey We have noticed an increase in the number of NLC members and their families reporting property sales are falling through due to issues with their leases. Also being refused new mortgages or remortgages on more favourable terms. In most cases it is reported that lenders are highlighting onerous leases or TP1 terms as the reason for the refusal. We would like to understand what the core issues are and what lenders are more problematic than others as there appears to be inconsistencies.
